- Make meat balls and wrap in grape leaves or slightly cooked romaine lettuce leaves
- Cook in chicken broth until they are done
- Use broth to make avgolemono sauce
- (Add juice of 1 lemon to 3 beaten egg yolks and a little cold water)
- Then add a little of the boiling chicken broth to the above mixture
- Add this to the meat balls
- When ready to serve, gently reheat and service with a crusty bread
