- Drain cherries and set aside
- Melt butter and add chocolate chips and melt. Allow cooling.
- Mix in bowl 4 eggs, 1 t vanilla, and 3/4 cup of sugar, pinch of salt.
- Add to bowl the chocolate-butter mixture
- Add 1 cup of flour and 1 1/2 t baking powder and mix. (I sift flour)
- Stir in the drained cherries.
- Pour into buttered spring form.
- Bake 45-50 minutes at 375 degrees
- Serve with whipped cream.
